Typical Security Setup
The Security section is where administrators manage who can access SEI, what they can see, and what they can do. It covers users, groups, authentication, roles, permissions, and data access control.
Each part of the configuration builds on the previous one. A typical setup starts with authentication and roles, then assigns users to groups, controls which data models each group can access, and finally adds restrictions and environment limits. Completing the steps in order makes the setup easier to manage and less prone to errors.
