GL Reconciliation
The GL Reconciliation Dashboard provides a clear overview of reconciliation status across companies and bank accounts. It allows finance teams to monitor the effectiveness of both automated and manual reconciliation processes, and identify aged unmatched transactions.
Key Metrics:
- Imported Entries: Total GL transactions imported for reconciliation.
- Reconciled Entries (Auto): Number and percentage of entries matched automatically.
- Reconciled Entries (Manual): Number and percentage of manually reconciled entries.
- Not Reconciled Entries: Entries still unmatched, with percentage.
- Non-Reconciled Aging: Breakdown of unmatched entries by age bracket:
- ≤ 30 Days
- > 30 Days
- > 60 Days
- > 90 Days
Visual Components:
- Reconciliation Details Table: Lists imported, reconciled (auto/manual), and unreconciled entries by group.
- Non-Reconciled Aging Table: Groups unreconciled entries by how long they have remained unmatched.
- Bar Chart - Reconciliation by Company (Volume): Compares companies by reconciliation status across four categories.
- Bar Chart - Reconciliation by Bank Account (Volume): Shows reconciliation performance per bank account.
Benefits:
- Increased Financial Accuracy: Helps ensure your general ledger reflects real-world transactions.
- Faster Close Cycles: Speeds up month-end close by identifying unreconciled entries earlier.
- Risk Mitigation: Prevents financial misstatements due to unreconciled or aged entries.
- Process Optimization: Highlights opportunities to improve automation rates and reduce manual workload.
