The login page is accessible through the Web Server URL configured during SEI installation. From this page, you can select a language before accessing the interface and Central Point. The table below lists the available options and fields that are displayed on the Login page.
After login, your session remains active for 36 hours without requiring reauthentication.
Basic authentication
The application allows users to view its major version, check the release for minor version information, and identify the build number for troubleshooting and feature awareness. Users can select their preferred interface language—supported options include English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, Turkish, Chinese (Simplified), and Chinese (Traditional)—with English as the default. The Central Point Selector lets users choose which data and visualizations to access. When logging in, users should enter their username (which is automatically converted to uppercase), their password (which is case-sensitive and locks the account after three failed attempts, requiring administrator assistance), and, if using Active Directory, their domain name. The “Keep me signed in” option maintains the session even after closing the browser or tab, unless the user logs out or clears browser cookies. Access to the Web Interface occurs via the Log In button, and users can click “Forgot Password?” to reset credentials. A toggle at the bottom of the page allows users to switch to the mobile interface.
What is a Central Point
The Central Point is the core repository of the Web Server, comprising both a Windows Shared Folder and a database. It stores all data configurations, data models, command center visualizations, user access, security settings, and everything required to use the Web Server.
Single sign-on (SSO) options
The SSO buttons are visible and accessible on the Login page. To use basic authentication, click Basic Authentication at the bottom of the page, then complete the required fields.
