Text Panel

A Text Panel adds formatted text to your dashboard to provide titles, section headers, or descriptions. It is independent and not attached to any specific view. You can move it anywhere on the dashboard, change its style, and write content that helps users understand or navigate the information presented.

If you want a header attached directly to a specific view, use a tile header instead.

When to use a text panel

  • Adding a dashboard title: Provide a clear title that identifies the dashboard’s purpose.
  • Adding context: Describe the purpose or highlights of a dashboard.
  • Structuring content: Organize into logical sections by inserting headings or dividers.
  • Guiding actions: Instruct users how to interact with the dashboard or interpret visualizations.
