Manage Extractions
You can update an existing extraction’s settings, activate or deactivate it for scheduling, or permanently delete it from DataSync. Managing extractions ensures your configurations remain up to date and are only active when needed.
Edit an existing extraction
- From the welcome screen or left navigation pane, select Extractions.
- Select the Edit Extraction icon in the upper‑right corner.
- Make the required changes to the extraction settings.
- (Optional) Select the Active checkbox to make the extraction available for scheduling.
- Click Save.
Activate the extraction
The Active parameter is only available when editing an existing extraction — it does not appear during initial creation.
Select this option to allow the extraction to run in a schedule. If the checkbox is cleared, the extraction will be ignored by any schedules it is linked to.
Delete an extraction
- From the welcome screen or left navigation pane, select Extractions.
- Select the Delete Extraction icon in the upper‑right corner.
- In the confirmation dialog, click Delete.

Deleting an extraction also removes all related tables, indexes, and fields. This action cannot be undone.
