Export Extraction

Use the Export extraction feature to save an extraction as a backup or to reuse it in another environment. This is useful for scenarios such as moving configurations from a test environment to production, sharing setups between customers (for partners), or creating a reusable template for specific data extractions.

When to export an extraction

  • Backing up configurations: Create a secure copy of an extraction to restore later if needed.
  • Reusing in another environment: Move an existing extraction from a test system to production.

Export an extraction

  1. From the welcome screen or left navigation pane, select Extractions.
  2. Select the extraction you want to export from the list.
  3. Select the Export Extraction icon in the upper‑right corner.
  4. Enter a name for the export file.
  5. Click Export to download the .zip file.

note

If the extraction contains transformations, they are included in the exported file.
