Sage XRT Advanced

The Sage XRT Advanced template provides a ready-to-use set of views, dashboards, reports, and workbooks. Optionally, you can import users from Sage XRT Advanced into SEI in a separate step after the initial installation.

After installation, explore the predefined analyses available in the Sage XRT Advanced template. See Predefined Analyses for details on available views, dashboards, reports, and workbooks.

Prerequisites​

Prerequisites

Before you start, ensure you have:

  • Sage XRT Advanced: A supported version installed.
  • Destination database: A target database, preferably matching your Sage XRT Advanced database collation.
  • DataSync: A supported version installed.
  • Installation package: The latest package downloaded from ShareFile.

Installation steps​

Via replicated data warehouse​

Production data is replicated to a data warehouse using DataSync. The template then reads from the warehouse. Use DataSync for replication, then configure SEI:

  1. Create the source connections
  2. Create the destination connection
  3. Import the synchronization extractions
  4. Configure the global variables
  5. Schedule the extractions
  6. Set up the data sources in SEI
  7. Import the template
  8. Build and load the OLAP cubes
  9. Import users to SEI (Optional)
