The Sage X3 HR Africa template provides a ready-to-use set of views, dashboards, reports, and workbooks.

Prerequisites​

Prerequisites

Before you start, ensure you have:

  • Sage X3 HR Africa: A supported version installed.
  • Installation package: The latest package downloaded from ShareFile.
  • SEI OLAP for SQL Server: The latest component, downloaded from the package and installed.

Installation steps​

Direct production database access​

All configuration is performed in SEI, connecting directly to your live production Sage X3 HR Africa database. Perform these steps on SEI:

  1. Set up the data sources in SEI
  2. Import the template
  3. Build and load the OLAP cubes
  4. Update the internal dictionary
