• Sage 100 North America: A supported version installed.
• Destination database: A target database, preferably matching your Sage 100 NA database collation.
• DataSync: A supported version installed.
• Installation package: The latest package downloaded from ShareFile.

Installation scenarios

Choose the path that matches your environment:

Scenario	Description	When to choose
Non-SEI Cloud Integration	Uses DataSync to synchronize your data to a warehouse managed outside the SEI Cloud. The template reads from this synchronized source.	For organizations that want to manage, store, and report on their data independently, without using the SEI Cloud.
Consolidated	Uses DataSync to centralize information from multiple Sage 100 NA companies into a unified warehouse for group-level reporting.	For organizations managing multiple Sage 100 NA Standard companies needing combined or group reporting.
SEI Cloud	Data is synced to the Cloud via DataSync. The template connects to Cloud-hosted data warehouse. Credentials are provided after cloud provisioning is complete.	For distributed teams or those preferring no local server maintenance.

Installation steps

Scenario 1: Non-Cloud Integration

Use DataSync to synchronize your data, then configure SEI:

1. Create the source connections
2. Create the destination connection
3. Import the synchronization extractions
4. Schedule the extractions
5. Set up the data sources in SEI
6. Import the template
7. Build and load the OLAP cubes

Scenario 2: Consolidated

Set up DataSync for multi-company consolidation:
