Nectari Copilot
The Nectari Copilot is your intelligent assistant that helps you ask questions, explore your data, perform actions, and make informed decisions. You can interact using natural language prompts and receive responses tailored to your license type. By default, the Copilot remembers the last ten interactions in the current session. You can use Nectari Copilot to ask contextual, how‑to, and business questions directly within the product.
You can delete your conversation history at any time by selecting Clear chat—this can reduce confusion and help manage credit usage.
Copilot is available starting with Version 2026 Release 1 for organisations on the new license model.

Chatbot vs. Copilot capabilities
The features available in Nectari Copilot depend on your license type and determine how interactive and action‑oriented your experience can be. If you have the Essential license, you will have access to the Chatbot mode, and if you have the Professional license, you will have access to the full Copilot capabilities.
| License feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Chatbot | Lets you ask questions about the application and receive informative answers, guidance on using features, and explanations of concepts—all without making automated changes in the system. This mode is ideal for learning, performing documentation searches, and clarifying how to carry out a task manually. |
| Copilot | Provides all Chatbot capabilities and additionally performs actions directly in the application on your behalf. This can include updating views, applying or removing filters, creating new reports, modifying layouts, or inserting recommended elements. Copilot acts as both an advisor and executor, helping you go from a request to an implemented change in a single step, while also delivering deeper insights and recommendations about your data. |
Write effective prompts
A good prompt is specific, uses the right terminology, and clearly describes the task or question you have in mind. Refer to the Online Help for correct names of features, fields, and reporting options.
The Nectari Copilot supports both objective questions (fact-based) and subjective questions (preference-based or stylistic). For example:
- Improve the chart appearance to look more professional. (preference-based)
- Explain the concept of retained earnings. (fact-based)

General prompts
Usage guidance
In usage guidance scenarios, Nectari Copilot provides clear instructions and advice on how to complete tasks inside the system. Instead of navigating through multiple menus or consulting documentation, you can ask how to achieve a specific goal, configure a setting, or enable a feature. It will outline the required steps, offer contextual advice, and in Copilot mode, can perform the steps for you when possible. This makes learning and executing processes faster, simpler, and more efficient.

Finance and reporting
When working in finance and reporting, Nectari Copilot can help structure complex data analysis by recommending the appropriate measures, dimensions, and layout for your reports. It can suggest the best way to design statements such as balance sheets, cash flow reports, margin analyses, or budget comparisons. It may also highlight key fields or performance indicators to include, explain calculation logic, and propose ways to improve visual clarity and analytical depth. In Copilot mode, it can apply these recommendations directly to your reports, producing a ready‑to‑use output tailored to your needs.
