Filtering Panel
The Filtering Panel lets you apply filters that control which data appears across your entire dashboard. You can filter by a dimension or a measure. When enabled, the panel appears by default at the top of the dashboard and displays all selected filters, allowing you to test combinations and show only the data you need.
important
For the filtering panel to function, at least one global parameter must be created and linked in the relevant data model.
When to use the filtering panel
- Filtering across multiple views: Apply a filter to several dashboard elements at once to maintain consistency.
- Analyzing different data segments: Focus your analysis by isolating subsets of data with specific filter values.
- Testing scenarios: Try different combinations of filters to compare outcomes and uncover trends or outliers.
