Connections

The Connections module is the first place you need to go in order to configure DataSync.

In order to perform extractions and thus manage your data synchronization, you have to first specify the source connection (i.e. the data source) and the destination connection (i.e. the data destination as the place in which you want the data to be read.)

In other words, you define your input and output data sources.

To work properly, DataSync needs a Source and a Destination connection. The source and the destination connection are both using connectors to communicate.

Source Connection	Defines how the system connects to your Acumatica database to extract and refresh data. Creating source connections is required before you can load or synchronize tables in your data warehouse.
Destination Connection	Specify where DataSync will store all extracted Acumatica data. This connection points to your data warehouse—a central database where the template will load and organize data received from your source connections.
