Scheduler

The Scheduler allows you to plan when and how often a cube is refreshed or reloaded. By creating scheduled jobs, you can automate cube data updates to ensure users always have the latest information without manual intervention. Scheduling also helps balance system performance by running heavy cube loads during off-peak hours.

You can refresh jobs screen at any time by clicking Refresh Screen Data in the Options panel.

When to schedule a job

  • Updating at regular intervals: Keep cube data current without manual intervention.
  • Automating data availability: Ensure cubes refresh before critical reporting times so data is ready for analysis.
  • Reducing system load: Run large loads or refreshes during off‑peak hours to optimize performance.
