Plant Manager
The Plant Manager dashboard for Sage X3 sets out yield, manufacturing costs, and on-time order metrics for the plant floor. It helps you see how much product is produced without defects, where manufacturing costs run over or under forecast, and how many orders ship on time.
How to use the plant manager dashboard
- Read yield and rejection quantities by month to see how much product comes out without defects.
- Split manufacturing costs by machine, material, labor, outsourced, and overhead against forecast, by product category.
- Review stock allocation status to see which open orders still need materials assigned.
- Weigh on-time order rates, average delay, order status, and work center runtime against expected to catch schedule slippage.
Filters
Use the filtering panel at the top of the Plant Manager dashboard to control which data is shown. The filters apply to all views and ensure the dashboard reflects the selections you choose.

Key performance indicators (KPIs)
The key performance indicators (KPIs) are displayed at the top of the dashboard. They show yield, manufacturing cost, and on-time order measures, and update based on the filters you apply.

| Total Manufacturing Costs | Manufacturing cost metrics, including Machine, Material, Labor, Outsourced, Overhead, and Total, indicating overall production cost and cost reduction opportunities. |
| On-Time Orders | Schedule adherence metrics, including Number of Work Orders, Number of On-Time Work Orders, and On-time Work Orders Rate, indicating how effectively production schedules are met. |
| Average Delay in Days | Average number of days production orders run past their scheduled completion date. |
