OLAP - Frequency, Top Performers, and Trends
The OLAP - Frequency, Top Performers, and Trends dashboard for Sage X3 captures order frequency, invoice volume, and per unit sales across sales representatives, customers, products, and invoices. It helps executive and operational leadership see who orders most often, how invoice volume moves with revenue, and where average order and invoice values are heading.
You need the Data Management add-on to use this dashboard.
How to use the frequency, top performers and trends dashboard
- Count how often sales transactions occur across representatives, customers, and products.
- Measure revenue productivity by how customers and invoices convert into net sales.
- Rank the most active sales reps, customers, and products by order frequency.
- Read the average invoice value and the revenue per customer to see transaction efficiency.

Key performance indicators (KPIs)
The key performance indicators (KPIs) at the top of the dashboard show six current year sales and order activity measures, and update based on the filters you apply.
| KPI | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Net Sales Current Year | Total recognized sales revenue for the selected fiscal period in the current year. Higher values mean more revenue was recorded, and lower values mean less sales activity. |
| Net Sales Last Year | Total recognized sales revenue for the equivalent fiscal period in the prior year, used as the baseline for year over year comparison. |
| Customers This Year | Number of distinct customers with sales in the selected fiscal period. Higher values mean sales come from more customers, and lower values mean fewer customers, which points to greater concentration or a decline. |
| Net Sales Per Customer | Average revenue per active customer in the current year. Higher values mean each customer brings more revenue, and lower values mean each customer brings less. |
| Invoices This Year | Number of sales invoices issued in the current fiscal period. Higher values mean more invoices were issued, and lower values mean fewer. |
| Net Sales Per Invoice | Average revenue per invoice issued in the current year. Higher values mean invoices are larger on average, and lower values mean smaller invoices or more low value orders. |
