Fundraising Efficiency
The Fundraising Efficiency dashboard for Sage Intacct is designed for not-for-profit organizations and tracks revenue sources, donor contributions, fundraising expenses, and fundraising efficiency. It helps you evaluate fundraising performance and donor engagement.
How to use the fundraising efficiency dashboard
- Track active donor participation on the Active Donors Ratio gauge to see what share of donors gave in the period.
- Rank campaigns by contribution amount using the Contributions by Campaign bar chart.
- Review fundraising expenses by campaign on the Fundraising Expenses by Campaign doughnut chart.
- Follow contribution trends over time on the Contributions Trend line chart.
- Compare fundraising expenses against the expense ratio on the Fundraising Expenses Trend combination chart.
Filters
Use the filtering panel at the top of the Fundraising Efficiency dashboard to control which data is shown. The filters apply to all views and ensure the dashboard reflects the selections you choose.

Key performance indicators (KPIs)
The key performance indicators (KPIs) are displayed at the top of the dashboard. They show donor contributions, fundraising expenses, and efficiency ratios, and update based on the filters you apply.

| Contributions | Total amount donated by individuals and organizations. |
| Tuition | Revenue generated from tuition fees. |
| Active Donors | Number of donors who contributed within the selected period. |
| Donor Count | Total number of donors in the system. |
| Average Donation Amount | Average amount donated per contribution. |
| Net Contribution per Donor | Total contribution value divided by the number of donors. |
| Fundraising Expense Ratio | Percentage of contributions spent on fundraising. |
| Fundraising Efficiency Ratio | Measure of how effectively fundraising activity converts into donations. |
