How to use the executive sales and profit summary dashboard
- Watch revenue performance through a consolidated view of commercial results.
- Catch growth and decline by comparing this year with last year, which shows where revenue accelerates or contracts.
- Trace changes in margin structure alongside revenue growth.
- Single out top performing sales representatives by their net sales.
- Examine dependency on key customers and products to see the commercial risk it creates.

Use the filtering panel at the top of the OLAP - Executive Sales & Profit Summary dashboard to control which data is shown. The filters apply to all views and ensure the dashboard reflects the selections you choose.

Key performance indicators (KPIs)
The key performance indicators (KPIs) at the top of the dashboard show six measures from revenue to net income for the selected period, and update based on the filters you apply.

| Revenue | Total sales value generated during the selected period, which shows the overall sales demand. |
| Cost of Goods Sold | Direct costs attributable to goods sold, which show production and purchasing costs relative to revenue. |
| Gross Profit | Revenue minus cost of goods sold (COGS), which shows the profit from core operations before operating expenses. |
| Operating Expense | Total indirect costs to run the business, including administrative and overhead expenses, which show how much overhead reduces profit. |
| EBIT | Earnings before interest and taxes, which shows operating profit without financing and tax costs. |
| Net Income | Profit or loss after all expenses, interest, and taxes for the selected period. |
