Sage Intacct, OLAP Dashboard
The OLAP - CFO Financial Performance Overview dashboard for Sage Intacct splits year to date financial indicators into four categories: performance, profitability, liquidity, and leverage. It helps finance and executive leaders see how revenue and profit are trending, how efficiently the business uses its capital, and how much of it is funded by debt.
- Set profitability, liquidity, and leverage side by side in one view built for analysis at the executive level.
- Break down asset and capital utilization through the ROA, ROE, OER, and ROCE indicators.
- Inspect working capital, the current ratio, and cash metrics to see how short term obligations are covered.
- Measure leverage and solvency with the debt ratios to identify financial risk.
- Weigh financial trends against the prior year to see where performance improves or slips.

Use the filtering panel at the top of the OLAP - CFO Financial Performance Overview dashboard to control which data is shown. The filters apply to all views and ensure the dashboard reflects the selections you choose.

The key performance indicators (KPIs) at the top of the dashboard show 16 measures grouped into performance, profitability, liquidity, and leverage, and update based on the filters you apply.

| Revenue YTD | Total sales generated from the start of the fiscal year to the current period, which shows the cumulative sales of the year. |
| Gross Profit YTD | Cumulative profit after deducting cost of goods sold from revenue year to date, which shows the profit from core operations. |
| Gross Profit YTD Margin % | Percentage of revenue retained as gross profit year to date. A higher margin means more of each sale remains after the cost of goods sold. |
| Net Income YTD | Total profit after all expenses and taxes from the start of the fiscal year. A positive value means revenue exceeded all expenses and taxes. |
Profitability KPIs

| Return on Assets (ROA) | Profit generated from total assets. A higher ROA means more profit for each dollar of assets. |
| Return on Equity (ROE) | Profit generated relative to shareholders' equity. A higher ROE means more profit for each dollar of equity. |
| Operating Expenses Ratio (OER) | Operating expenses as a proportion of revenue. A lower ratio means less of each revenue dollar goes to operating expenses. |
| Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) | Operating profit generated from capital employed. A higher ROCE means more operating profit for each dollar of capital employed. |
Liquidity KPIs

| Working Capital YTD | Difference between current assets and current liabilities year to date. A positive value means current assets exceed current liabilities. |
| Working Capital LYTD | Working capital year to date for the same period last year, used for comparison. |
| Current Ratio | Current assets divided by current liabilities. A value above 1 means current assets are larger than current liabilities. |
| Working Capital Turnover | Revenue generated from working capital. Higher turnover means more revenue for each dollar of working capital. |
Leverage KPIs

| Debt to Capital Ratio | Share of the capital structure funded by debt. Higher values mean a larger share is funded by debt. |
| Debt to Assets Ratio | Proportion of company assets financed through debt. A higher ratio means more of the assets are financed by debt. |
| Debt Ratio | Total liabilities divided by total assets, which shows the overall level of financial leverage. |
| Debt-to-Equity Ratio | Total debt compared with shareholders' equity. Higher values mean more reliance on external financing. |
