The Inventory Historical dashboard for Sage 200 Evolution follows past inventory movement, sales performance, and valuation trends. It includes stock balance, valuation, and sales revenue, cost, profit, and margin by period.

How to use the inventory historical dashboard​

  • Track historical inventory: Provides insights into stock levels and valuation trends over time.
  • Analyze cost trends: Helps identify cost fluctuations to support better pricing strategies.
  • Monitor sales performance: Tracks sales revenue, costs, and profitability.
  • Review stock movement: Analyzes past inventory inflows and outflows to improve forecasting.

Filters​

Use the filtering panel at the top of the Inventory Historical dashboard to control which data is shown. The filters apply to all views and ensure the dashboard reflects the selections you choose.

Key performance indicators (KPIs)​

The key performance indicators (KPIs) at the top of the dashboard show six historical stock and sales measures, and update based on the filters you apply.

Sales AmountRevenue generated from inventory sales in the selected period.
Sales CostCost associated with inventory sold in the selected period.

Sales Profit MarginProfit as a percentage of sales amount for the selected period.
