Pre-2026 License Management

This page belongs to the license model used before 2026. It lets administrators view license details, track active users, and manage license activation for products still running under that older model.

Access this page from the Administration section to see current license use, product and module coverage, and active sessions.

Prior to Version 2026

This page applies to the legacy license model. Since 2026, SEI uses a new license model.

Page overview

At the top, you'll see your Serial Number and a table with key license details for each licensed product:

• Licensed products and modules
• Number of active users and authorized users
• License expiration dates
• Currently logged-in users and the module they are connected through, for example Web or Excel Add-in

License information table

Column	What it shows
Product	Licensed product types such as Full BI and Viewer.
Active Users	How many users are currently using the product.
Authorized Users	The maximum number of users allowed under the license.
Expiration Date	The date the license expires for that product.
ID / Username	Each user's ID and associated name.
Last Accessed At	The most recent time the user accessed the product.
Connection Module	The module the user is connected through, for example Web or Excel Add-in.

Licensed modules

Below the license information table, a separate section lists additional modules included in the license, such as:

• OLAP
• Distribution
• ETL Consolidation
• ETL Transformation
• ETL Migration

Column	What it shows
Module	The name of the licensed module.
Availability	Yes if the module is included in the license, or N/A if it isn't licensed or isn't in use.

Available actions

The following buttons at the bottom of the page manage the license:

Button	What it does
Update License	Applies new or revised license information.
Release License	Releases the currently registered license, allowing it to be reused on another server.
Refresh	Reloads license and user data to show the most current information.
